At this year“s Simulation Engineering Show in Derby on April 7th, MSC Software will provide insights into their updated simulation software solutions portfolio. Visitors can benefit from free learning-sessions in the morning, introducing the manufacturing process simulation solutions Simufact.forming and Simufact.welding and free hands-on workshops in the afternoon on the latest version of MSC“s CAE simulation platform MSC APEX.
At 14:30 MSC will present Mr. Steff Evans from EVOTECH Computer Aided Engineering Ltd. who will talk about „Speeding Up The Product Development Process Using MSC Apex“.

Free hands-on workshops
Visitors to the Engineering Show are invited to join two free learning-sessions/ hands-on workshops in a separate break-out room (POD 5):

10:00 h – 13:00 h Simufact learning-sessions: The Simufact product lines Simufact.forming and Simufact.welding are widely used software solutions for the design and optimization of a broad bandwidth of manufacturing processes in metal processing. The learning-sessions provide some first hands-on experience with handling Simufact.forming and Simufact.welding. Participants will learn how the applications can help users in their day-to-day business.
13:30 h- 16:30 h MSC APEX workshop: MSC Apex is an award winning next generation CAE simulation platform. Visitors are invited to learn about best practices for preparing and meshing complex geometry, and experience the latest software technology that can reduce the meshing process time by up to 90%.
