More power in any vehicle – brought about by two new bass drivers from car audio specialist EMPHASER.
For more than 20 years bass equipment from EMPHASER has been a fixture on the car audio market. With many years of experience, and a string of test winning models behind them, EMPHASER has now launched two new woofers: the ESW-M8 (20 cm / 8″) and the ESW-M10 (25 cm / 10″).
These two new bass drivers are all-rounders that impress with their quality, power and sound. Whether they are installed in a compact closed box or in a slightly bigger bass reflex enclosure providing for higher SPL output, the woofers of the EMPHASER Monolith series with 200 watts RMS ensure a powerful bass storm in any car, truck or motorhome.
The components of both bass speakers have been specially selected and optimally matched. For instance, on account of its low weight, the very hard and rigid aluminum cone is perfectly suited for reproduction rich in detail at extremely low distortion levels. The combination of aluminum cone, massive pole plates and powerful double strontium ferrite ring magnets is the basis for the high sensitivity of these bass drivers.
The voice coil is made of 4-layer copper-wire wound on a temperature-resistant, electrically neutral polyimide former, which ensures high durability. The Conex centering spider and butyl rubber surround again guarantee a consistently high reproduction quality throughout the entire lifetime of the speaker.
Further product highlights are the stable, efficiently ventilated aluminum cast baskets and the solid push connection terminals.
For the installation of the ESW-M8 either a closed enclosure with a volume of 13 liters or a 25-liter bass reflex enclosure is recommended. The ESW-M10 fits perfectly into closed enclosures with a volume of 22 liters or a 35-liter bass reflex enclosure.

The brand has become a well respected brand since middle of the 1990s for its enormously powerful subwoofers of the XTREME series, followed later by the series SPL, Linear-X, Neo-SPL and the state-of-the-art woofer E15NEO-COMP.
